  • 1977: Signed as a free agent by the Mets scout Len Zanke. Played "A" baseball for the Lynchburg Mets, VA. Attended the Mets Instructional League, fall of 1977

  • 1978: Played "AA" baseball for the Jackson Mets, MS. Attended the N.Y. Mets Instructional League, fall of 1978, where he was converted from a starting pitcher to a relief pitcher by Mets major league manager Joe Torre. Attended Major League spring training with the NY Mets.

  • 1979: Played "AAA" baseball for the Tidewater Mets, VA. Attended Major League spring training with the NY Mets. Called up to the Major League team in August, 1979. Played winter baseball for the Arecibo Lobo's in the Puerto Rican League.

  • 1980: NY Mets Played winter baseball for the Arecibo Lobo's in the Puerto Rican League.

  • 1981: NY Mets Traded to the Montreal Expos for Ellis Valentine.

  • 1981- 1986: Montreal Expos

  • 1987-1989: Minnesota Twins

  • 1990-1992: Boston Red Sox Traded to the Atlanta Braves in August of 1992

  • 1992: Atlanta Braves

  • 1993: Cincinnati Reds

  • 1994: N. Y. Yankees
